When purchasing your extended service warrantee contract covering your previously driven new/used vehicle remember this important detail. Such contracts usually begin retroactively tailing back to the original in service date. This can significantly reduce your anticipated coverage duration. It's there in the fine print. Be sure you have purchased enough extended coverage to at minimum cover your new auto purchase contract until it is paid in full. You don't want to find out at the last minute that your service contract expires a year prior to the maturity of your auto loan. Ouch!
